abacus, the national network of qualified accountants, has today announced it will be providing KashFlow online accounting software to all of its franchisees.
After initially recommending the software-as-a-service (SaaS) product to their accountancy network, abacus have now taken the decision to provide it to all of their accountants as a standard element of their offering to help qualified accountants set up in practice.
The KashFlow software is web-based and has a separate interface designed specifically for accountants to manage multiple clients using the software, which the accountant re-brands with their own logo and colours.
“We’ve been incredibly impressed by the software and the team at KashFlow, particularly their responsiveness to suggestions on how to further improve their already excellent software” said Steve Jackson, managing director of abacus. “By providing the software to all of our new franchisees, we give them a tool that gives them a great deal of control and oversight of their clients bookkeeping activity.”
Last year KashFlow surprised the software industry and planted a flag for other SaaS vendors by beating both Sage and Quickbooks to win an award for best Small Business Accounting Software. KashFlow also became the first accounting application in the world to be certified by PayPal for automated accounting.
Until the end of May, KashFlow is being offered free of charge to small businesses who send in their existing copy of a competing product. The company say they’ll then build a bonfire with the boxes and CDs they receive.
