The town is home to Stewarts Chartered Accountants, who have over 23 years’ experience and have successfully grown the business into what it is today, predominantly by word of mouth from many happy clients.

The team at Stewarts consists of Chris Stewart, a qualified Chartered Accountant who set up the practice in 1990 and has recently added probate work to his qualifications. Stewarts are now registered to carry out probate work in England and Wales.

Esther Stewart, wife of Chris, joined the practice in 2008. Esther's main role is Practice Manager. They are joined by several other, highly experienced and qualified personnel, including Kirsty Suggett ACA, who is an Associate Director of the practice with a large variety of experience in many aspects of accountancy work, including audits and financial planning, and Lesley-Anne Sherratt.

Lesley has 25 years’ experience both in practice and in industry, and can help with queries and training on various software packages suitable for accounting.
